What is the difference between using a disc and a disc?

In the process of finding the right tool for each job, consider the two have some similarities, but can also produce very different results depending on the project you are working on.
What is a grinding wheel?
As the name suggests, it is a wheel used to cut, grind, or finish metal or other objects. It usually consists of abrasive particles bonded together.
What is a flap disc?
It is also a grinding disc, but the design is different. When the grinding wheel is like a round flat plate, a flap disc is connected to a central hub by many overlapping small pieces or flaps.

How are they the same?
Grinding wheels and turning plates are used to grind metal, which can effectively grind metal. Both have a high cutting rate, or a high metal removal rate, and show a very long product life, so you can use your money to get a lot of high-quality use. Grinding wheels and flap discs are available in 27 and 29 shapes. Type 27 wheels are mostly straight wheels, while Type 29 wheels have an upward angle built into the grinding section. Grinding wheels also have 28 shapes with downward angles.
When is it better to use a grinding wheel?
The 27-type grinding wheel can be used for cutting, as well as grinding the root weld bead (two of the workpieces have been fused together) and hot weld bead (the second pass through the root weld). The person who welds the pipe uses a grinding wheel to carry out this activity. Generally, the product life of grinding wheels is slightly longer than that of vanes.
When is it better to use a flap disc?
If you want better results, such as mixing, polishing, and deburring, then flap disc is the method. Grinding wheels cannot be used for polishing at all, and only provide limited mixing. In fact, the finish of the grinding wheel is usually too rough to be considered "mixed". Flap discs are perfect for deburring (rough edges on smooth metal) because they do't jitter like grinding wheels.
Which is safer?
A flap disc failure may cause loose parts of the paper to hit the user, causing the disc to be slightly out of balance. If the grinding wheel fails, the grinding wheel may severely lose its balance and throw large chunks of hard rock material at the user. There is a big difference.
